Summer 2017 Reading Goals

What are your reading goals?

  • I have about 20 books (some on the stack from last summer) that I hope to get through this summer.
  • I'm going to read the English I summer required reading (Fahrenheit 451), as I've never read it.
  • Overdrive SYNC Audiobooks are filling my phone.
  • My Bible study is Beth Moore's Entrusted.
  • Like last summer, I have several magazines that I will enjoy (especially near the pool).
No matter what your goals are, I hope you reach them. It is a great thing to read something everyday.

A. S. King & me
One of the many authors I got to meet at TLA this year. I'm working on arranging and labeling all of my pics (will post to this website soon).
School libraries are important! They are a safe place for students to learn, explore, think, create & connect with others.
Students attended the North Texas Teen Book Festival in Irving on March 4. They met authors, bought autographed books, listened to panel sessions, took lots of pictures, got free swag from publishers and had a filled day of #booklove.
North Texas Teen Book Festival is happening March 4. Sign up in the library to go. Cost is FREE (you'll need to bring a lunch or money for lunch). Barnes and Noble will be on hand with books for sale.
