High School Dance Department

The dance program is designed to develop self-confidence, body awareness, rhythm, coordination, as well as physical fitness. This full-year course will focus on an intensive study of basic forms of dance. Training will include guided instruction of dance skills, technique, and vocabulary. Students will explore the choreographic and staging processes too. Basic aerobic fitness and conditioning will also be incorporated.
