Coach Weil

Coach Weil is a Mansfield, Texas native who graduated from Mansfield High School in 1998. During High School Weil earned the following honors: 2 time All-State (97' and 98'), Fort Worth Star Telegram Player of the Year (98'), Arlington Morning News Player of the Year (98'), Arlington Star Telegram Player of the Year (98'), Sports Zone Player of the Year (98'), Dallas Morning News Player of the Year (98'), Arlington Star Telegram Player of the Year (97'). In 2010, Weil was selected 3rd Team UIL All Century Team. After graduating High School, Coach Weil continued playing soccer at Texas Wesleyan University (Kenneth Medina). Weil also played 6 years with The Dallas Texans Soccer Club (Hassan Nazari). He also coached for the Texans for 4 seasons. Coach Weil will be entering his 9th year as the Honeybees Head Coach all of which the Honeybees have made the playoffs. In 2008 and 2015 the Honeybees made their farthest playoff runs making it to the Regional Semi-Finals. In 2008 Weil was named District 7-4A Coach of the Year. In 2009, Weil was named Texas Association of Soccer Coaches Region- I Coach of the Year, selected to coach in the T.A.S.C.O Senior Showcase, and appointed to the Texas High School Coaches Association Regional Board of Directors to represent soccer.
