I am originally from Chihuahua, Mexico. I came to Stephenville to attend Tarleton State University and play baseball. After a few years of college and baseball, I started my career in Education at Acton Middle School, part of Granbury ISD. After a few years, I moved to the Curriculum Department as the district's Post Secondary Programs Coordinator. My last year at GISD, I was the assistant principal at Granbury High School for students whose last names started with letters E through L. Last school year was my tenth year in Education and I love it more and more every year!
I married my wife Deanna and we have two children, Jay (6) and Ellie (3). We have been Stephenville residents from the beginning, Deanna graduated from SHS, and in my case I just could not stay away from Stephenville once I set foot for the first time.
I love baseball, football and basketball. I enjoy playing recreational softball and sand voleyball. At home, I like to watch TV and play video games with my son and daughter. I also play the drums and sing with my church choir.
